The Heart

The Heart’s so far away,
at the distance where time seem to stop at it.
No past, no present and no future.
Just an endless continuation of longing.

The Heart’s so far away,
to a land unreachable even by song.
As the winds carry the wishes I have for you,
it will be unheard and be carried elsewhere.

The Heart’s so far away,
that I’m here but numb to the core.
That no matter how distracting the sun, or the days,
my mind’s drowning in Onyx’ Loneliness.

The Heart’s so far away,
taken by the Being I can’t win against at.
My Heart’s so far away,
that I wonder if it will come back to me.
